Plastic Free Riverpark Event Grants 26-27

Submissions are now being accepted. Submissions close at 4:00pm 19 March 2027 (AWST).

Welcome to the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions Swan Canning Waterways Branch online grant application service. This form is for those applying for the Plastic Free Riverpark program

The Program supports riverfront local governments and event organisers to eliminate single-use products at community events located within 1km of the Swan Canning Riverpark. Working with vendors to source reusable alternatives to packaging/serve-ware, implementing free water refill stations and clearly marking waste stations can help to significantly reduce litter from these important cultural and sporting gatherings ending up in our rivers.

This program is administered by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA).

Please read the Grant Application Guidelines on the Plastic Free Riverpark webpage before completing this application.

It is important that you confirm you meet eligibility criteria before commencing the application. If in doubt, please contact the Plastic Free Riverpark Program Project Officer at plasticfreeriverpark@dbca.wa.gov.au
